Wow, so many “new” versions of things! New Facebook! New Xbox Experience! A new look for Gmail! They all look so different and slick, how cool!
Is there really a benefit to having these big rollouts for new updated interfaces? Is the water company gonna come out to my house tomorrow and say “we’re gonna dress your water heater up in a slick new orange & white look with a sweet stripe down the side in two months, so get stoked now?” Should I start looking for letters from the Post Office that say “pretty soon the mailtrucks are gonna be totally rad-looking?”
How about new content? Or maybe these companies just take the money they’re spending on redesigning what already works fine and just cut me a small check?
Keep your eyes peeled - pretty soon your clock radio is gonna have an animated dancing hologram on top of it that YOU can design!

I’m so glad I actually met someone named “Skeeter!”
